Rucking entails walking or hiking at a faster pace with a weighted backpack, often in nature, where you can benefit from various physical and mental advantages. It’s an accessible workout suitable for individuals at any fitness level. So, grab your ruck or daysack and join us for an unforgettable rucking experience!
Often associated with military Rucking or “tabbing” as it’s known in the military offers a physical and mental workout. With a suitable load carried in your ruck, backpack, or daysack over a distance Rucking is an enjoyable experience!
It can be carried out solo or in a group of like-minded souls with the benefits of being outdoors ranging from reducing stress and anxiety to promoting natural weight loss and improving endurance and overall health.
Led by our Lead Rucker, Gavin, who brings 24 years of military experience—including various challenging physical and mental courses—we’ll guide you from a basic introduction to fully embracing the joy of rucking and exploring the great outdoors!
To get you started, we’re offering an introductory 90-minute session. This session covers the basics of equipment, breathing techniques, and a short ruck to give you a taste of the experience. Depending on your fitness level, we’ll adjust the weight and distance to ensure you have an enjoyable time.
So what do I need….a sturdy pair of trail running shoes, comfortable running clothing and a positive mindset! We can provide a weighted vest for your introduction session. Now you are ready for your session so see you soon.
